Serviced Apartment Review: Adagio Premium Al Barsha Dubai

Over the last couple of years, our team have made a few trips out to sunny Dubai, to source high quality and reliable serviced accommodation for our clients, ranging from recruitment, film and IT industries.

We've previously stayed at InterContinental Residence Suites Dubai F.C near the airport, Staybridge Suites Dubai Internet City and this trip our team booked the Adagio Premium Aparthotel Al Barsha near the Mall of the Emirates.

Each one of these serviced apartments offered a great stay experience with a variety of on-site facilities and services and would be a perfect home from home solution for any short to long term stay in this vibrant city.

Here we take you inside the Adagio Premium Aparthotel Al Barsha to show you what you can expect when you stay at this property.

The Building

The building is 41 storeys high and sits just off the busy Sheikh Al Zayed Road, with shops on the doorstep from grocery stores like the popular chain West Zone to restaurants, a dry cleaner, a barber and a pharmacy.

It is attached to the Novotel Al Barsha Hotel and is interconnected internally via a corridor to the Novotel reception and ground floor coffee shop Cafe Java.

The 24 hour reception and concierge are very welcoming and you need a keycard to access your floor via the lifts. There is free parking for guests and this is located on the first few floors of the building.

The Apartments

Two Bedroom Apartments

We stayed in a spacious two bedroom apartment on the 41st floor with a fantastic balcony and city views (which was kept locked as there were children). The city lights in the night were stunning.

It was incredibly spacious with high ceilings, air-conditioning, free WiFi, and TVs in every room.

There was a big kitchen with a large fridge and freezer, gas hob, microwave, oven and a dishwasher. Pots, pans, crockery and cutlery were also provided in the draws and cupboards.

Leading on from the kitchen was a twin bedroom and double bedroom, each with an ensuite bathroom, fitted wardrobes and a desk. The apartment had an additional two toilets.

The furnishings were of a good standard and towels and bed linen were changed every day.

The apartment also featured a handy washer dryer.

Three Bedroom Apartments

While we were in-house, we also went to take a look around a Three Bedroom Apartment, which was situated overlooking the pool.

These apartments had a similar style of colour scheme and interiors.

The kitchen was similarly well equipped with all the same appliances and plenty of cooking facilities to comfortably dine-in.

They also provide bottled water everyday in sustainable glass bottles along with some tea and coffee essentials.

Here again, fitted wardrobes were spacious and provided ample amount of space for clothing and belongings.

Each bedroom has an ensuite. Some with showers, some with bathtubs. All with bidets.

There are some toiletries provided for your convenience and soaps and shampoos are topped up daily in the fixed jars to save wasteful single-use plastic.

The master bedroom in the three bedroom apartment was generous with large bright windows and also came with a walk-in wardrobe.

All master bedroom wardrobes had a safe (large enough for a small laptop), prayer mat and Quran, laundry order list, extra pillows, hairdryer, bathroom slippers and an iron and ironing board.

One Bedroom Apartments

And finally, we stopped by a one bedroom apartment on the 8th floor to see how they vary from the two bedroom and three bedroo units.

Furnishings were nice and consistent and overall it was very well presented.

Here the dishwasher and the washer dryer sat next to each other.

There was only one bathroom with a bathtub int he one bedroom apartment.

The kitchen was slightly different with an open-plan style layout and a breakfast bar in addition to a dining table for four.

Same range of appliances and plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking gadgets.

The Facilities

On the 7th floor there is a large gym, packed with equipment, a swimming pool and the spa.

You can also walk over to the Novotel Hotel swimming pool which has a toddler room and a bar/restaurant.

The swimming pool is heated to about 30 degrees and there's place to lounge or sit at a table. There is a little kiddie pool too. The lifeguard kindly brought out some inflatable toys for the kids while they were splashing about.

Al Barsha is a very convenient location close to the Mall of the Emirates and on the Dubai Metro line (Station: Mashareq).

You can easily pick up a passing taxi as you exit the building or book a taxi via the Careem app.

By taxi: Kite Beach was 10 minutes away, The Dubai Mall was 15-20 minutes away, The airport was 35 minutes away (traffic permitting).
