One of the newest partners to join our portfolio is the Adagio Aparthotel brand and we are very thrilled to be offering these fantastic design-led serviced apartments to our clients.
Adagio recently opened its doors to a new property in Stratford, so we headed over to take a look and see for ourselves why it is such a great option for extended stays and corporate travel.
It certainly ticks so many boxes providing a well connected and very convenient base for short or long stays with the added bonus of great city views, smart technology, a fitness room, laundry on-site, self-catering in the apartments and a smart and fun communal guest space "The Circle" to relax, work or socialise.
We take a closer look inside on our tour of Adagio Stratford:
The Apartments
Adagio London Stratford features 136 fully self-contained apartments with a mix of studios and one bedroom units.
The one bedroom apartments have a great open plan living space with with extra storage, a desk, a large flatscreen TV and a sofa.
The furnishings are modern with a nod to Scandi-design combining soft neutral tones and highlight a statement rug or headboard in blue and pink colours.
Some apartments have striking views across the neighbourhood and city. The windows open as well which automatically switches the air-conditioning off to save energy.
There is a dedicated desk area with a telephone, HDMI and USB socket and a lamp.
The bedrooms are cosy and comfortable with fitted wardrobes and soft bed linen making it just the place to lay your head after a busy day.
The wardrobes offer plenty of storage (great for longer stays), a safe, an iron and ironing board and extra towels.
The bathrooms are beautifully appointed with contemporary bathroom suites, a sleek backlit mirror, a bathtub or a shower, fresh towels, toiletries and a hairdryer. The toilet may be separate in a WC.
Studio apartments are presented in the same style and standard of furnishings with an option to choose twin beds and an open plan living and sleeping area.
Kitchens have a good sized fridge and freezer box, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a hob (4 ring induction hob in a 1 Bedroom Apartment & 2 ring induction hob in a Studio Apartment).
There is also a coffee machine, a kettle, sink, cutlery, crockery and cookware.
Fire safety regulations are in place in all apartments.
The apartments are all fully air-conditioned.
The Building
The aparthotel is a new modern building sitting right next door is a big Sainsbury supermarket.
This is "the Circle" is what you see as you walk in through the front doors and is a great space for residents to relax in, work outside their rooms or socialise.
An open plan kitchen area is also behind the bar (temporarily closed off due to the Covid restrictions)
The friendly reception desk has been modified with a safety screen and hand sanitiser station in light of the pandemic.
For any emergencies, there's a mini-market section at the reception.
Who wouldn't love a bit of table football?
Something that really stood out was the world pin board in the signature colours which features polaroid photos of their guests pinned against the country they came from.
The fitness room has a cross trainer and treadmill and weights as well as towels.
The laundry room has two washing machines and two dryers that are coin-operated.
There is a free bike storage space next to the car park.
The car park is in the basement and is on a first come first serve basis. It also has a car lift.
The Neighbourhood
Stratford has seen a lot of new development since the Olympics in 2012 and has many new building complexes and recreational facilities in the area.
In addition to this there is the mega Westfield Mall with all the major high street chains, plenty of dining options and supermarkets as well.
Stratford is very well accessible with Stratford Underground & DLR station, Stratford International Station and local buses.
Direct trains operate to Canary Wharf, Liverpool Street, Oxford Street and London St. Pancras.
